1. Purpose

These terms of service set out the conditions for subscribing to and using the Dolichain service, as well as the rights and obligations of the parties. They are available at any time through a link at the bottom of every page of the website.

2. Operator

The Dolichain service is operated by the company CAP-REL, official Dolibarr Preferred Partner, whose details are given in the legal notice.

3. Description of the service

Dolichain receives the fingerprints that the customer's software computes on its unalterable log, and:

  • keeps each accepted fingerprint for 10 years without modifying or deleting it;
  • refuses, keeps and reports any attempt to rewrite, roll back or break the chain;
  • dates the reception with its own clock and issues a signed receipt;
  • chains its own data and seals it every day with an UpToSign signature;
  • alerts the customer by email when an anomaly is detected or when their software stops sending its fingerprints.

Dolichain does not certify the customer's software and does not replace its certification: it provides an independent, dated proof that the log has not been rewritten after its fingerprints were sent. The service receives no business data.

4. Order and account

Orders are placed on the website. The customer's account opens with the order; an email allows the customer to confirm their address and choose their password. After payment, the customer receives a single-use enrollment code that links their software to the service.

The customer provides accurate information, in particular the SIREN of the company whose log is sealed, and keeps it up to date. The customer is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and enrollment codes.

5. Prices, billing and payment

The prices are those shown on the Pricing page on the day of the order, excluding taxes. Setup fees, where the formula includes them, are charged once with the first order.

The subscription is billed on the 1st of each month. The first month is charged pro rata of its remaining days. By paying their first order by bank card, the customer authorizes the following monthly invoices of their subscription to be charged to that card.

6. Cancellation and non-payment

The subscription has no commitment. The customer may cancel it at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid and stops any further charges.

If a charge fails, the customer is informed and is given a period to pay the invoice, during which the service is maintained. Failing payment, the subscription is closed. The fingerprints sent continue to be received and kept, so that the customer's chain has no gap; however, no new software can be enrolled and no attestation is issued for the unpaid period.

7. Retention after the end of the contract

Fingerprints, receipts and daily seals remain kept for 10 years from their reception, including after the end of the subscription: this is the condition for the proof they provide.

8. Customer obligations

The customer keeps the module active and its scheduled job running, and uses the service in accordance with its purpose. In particular, the customer refrains from attempting to circumvent its security, disrupt its operation or resell it without authorization.

9. Liability

CAP-REL implements the means necessary for the availability and integrity of the service, but cannot guarantee absolute availability. An unavailability of the service never blocks the customer's business: their software keeps its fingerprints and sends them as soon as the service is back. CAP-REL cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the service.

10. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the legal notice.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts. For any question, use the contact form.
